Mr. Moran was not only and exceptional teacher but a wonderful man. Those of us who were fortunate enough to be associated with him are better adults because of his wisdom and guidance. Thank you, Mr. Moran.

My deepest sympathies go to Mr. Moran's family. I had the privledge of being in 2 of his classes at East Islip. He was a great teacher and I list him as the best I ever had. He will be missed but not forgotten. Semper Fi Capt. Moran from one Marine to another.

Many things come to mind when I think of Mr. Moran. Father of my childhood friend, I spent so many hours at the Moran home. Mr. Moran took us to high school football games, for rides in his Karhhman gias and "caddy" and stops for cokes w/ real cherries. I remember his cucumber slices w/ vinegar dressing and that he always a father who made the thanksgiving turkey. I remember him telling Mark some day he would be a "big moose" in the back seat and Mr. Moran would not be able to see behind him to back up the car. I remember telling him that all the vitamins leave the juice if you don't cover it up and he teased me and tried to gather the escaping vitamin back into the container. Most of all, I remember him helping one of my friends in need with his always present kindness and compassion. All my love to my second family on Long Island.

I am sorry to learn and hear that Mr. Moran had past away. Mr Moran
my history teacher in East Islip High
school my last year to be exact (1965 to 1966). Mr. Moran was a great individual and teacher. He made history class fun and I learned a lot from him. When I ran into him some two years ago, Mr Moran was the same individual as he was in the class room back then. Mr Moran will be missed by a lot of us.
