Duckham and Glenn (Gina) Davis. Cherished grandfather of Jimmy, Joey (Jackie) and Michael. Loving great-grandfather of Jo Jo and Charlotte. Dear brother of Elizabeth West. Fond uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 Mile West of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45W). A Religious Service will be held Monday evening at the Funeral Home at 6:00 PM. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, at 10AM. Burial to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, NY. In lieu of flowers, George's family suggests donations may be made in his loving memory to the Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Rd., Northport, NY 11768. Visitation Sunday, 3PM until 7PM, Monday, 3PM until 7PM and Tuesday, 9AM until 10AM. www.chapeyfamily.com

George was one of the most jovial and friendly person I know. He was very kind hearted and always checking if you are ok. His love and passion towards his families and everyone he came across was highly obvious. May his soul continues to rest in eternal peace.
