As I read the memories, prayers and sharing of love left here, guilt comes upon me. It has been 15 years and I never added a memory. I first met George when we were in seventh grade. We remained friends for so many years. Though lapses took place in our times together, George always remained very high in my level of friendship. Rest well my good friend! Sorry for the long delay in adding this Nickie and family!

I had the priviledge of working with Teresa at Marist College and I know how close she was to her Dad. I know that she will miss him very much and my prayers and thoughts go out to Teresa and her family during this very difficult time.

The first time I met George was when Liz and Carl were moving in next to me and I could tell that he was a real family man and was always there for his family. The next time was when I worked at DMV and I helped him and his son register a car and they were so thankful. I saw him again at Sofia Christening and he was so proud of his granchildren and knew there would be more coming, then Christmas Eve right after Kate was born he was beaming and telling stories of when he and Nickie and the kids went on vacation and stay upstate driving all that way with six children before ipods and video games. He was just a real family man and when Carl told me this morning he had passed I was so upset, but, I hope he is at peace and maybe talking to Mitchell about the great families that they had to leave behind. My sympathy and prayers go out to the family he loved in a very special way.
