Dear Nelson family; my deepest sympathy on your lost of George. I am truly sorry that I was not present during the services. I just heard of George's passing on Wednesday February 2nd while checking in on my moms house. Mom just heard about George's passing as she is currently in Florida until March. I have heard many wonderful stories about George and I do have some of my own vague memories. One of the things I remember the most was the efforts he made to be present at my father's wake and I was grateful as I knew it meant so much to my mom. I have emailed the obit to mom and I am sure she will be in touch with your family soon. Once again my deepest sympathy. Eileen Casey (Joan and Jim's daughter)

Mrs. Nelson, Eileen & Lou, Michael, Brian & Elizabeth and Pat,
You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very sad time. My hope is that you find comfort and solace in the lifetime of memories you hold dear. When I think of Mr. Nelson, I picture him standing tall, wearing a suit and a great big smile on his face. Know he will be watching over all of you always.
