Gertrude Kelly

KELLY - Gertrude (nee Lucas) on January 25, 2017 at the age of 96. She lived in Manor Care Nursing Facility in Centreville, VA. Gert was born and raised in Astoria, NY. She lived and raised her family in Bellerose, NY. Beloved wife of 56 years of the late Daniel Kelly. Loving mother of Colleen Carbonari (Robert), Patrick, Bridget Ventrelli (the late Michael) and the late Peggy Clifford (Ed). She was Nana to Erin, Daniel, Katie, Anya, Kelly, Matthew and James as well as great-grandmother to Madelyn, Mason and Eyelyn. She was blunt in her observations and direct in her advice. Gert will be missed by all. Friends may call Monday 2-5 & 7-9:30 pm at Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, 125 Hillside Avenue, New Hyde Park, NY. Funeral Mass Tuesday 9:45 am at Our Lady of the Snows RC Church. Interment Calverton National Cemetery.
