Herbert V. Luckwaldt

LUCKWALDT-Herbert V. 59, of Westvale and Ft. Lauderdale, FL on February 9, 2005. He was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Westbury, Long Island. He attended Chaminade High School and graduated from Hofstra University on Long Island. Herb spent his professional career with Budget Rent-A-Car. From 1984-1995 as Vice President of Corporate Operations for North America, as Senior V.P. of Operations EMEA, and as Senior V.P. of Operations Worldwide from 1998-2001. He had also worked with R.I. Heller and Co., LLC, Rand McNally, and Viasource. From 2001-2003 he was Senior V.P. in Fleet Operations for ANC Rental Corp. Prior to 1984, he held a variety of management positions with Hertz Corp. and Avis Rent-A-Car. He is predeceased by his father Herbert and mother Catherine. Survivors: two sons, Bobby Luckwaldt of Orlando, FL, and Jimmy (Michelle) Luckwaldt of St. Petersburg, FL; two daughters, Trish (Dan) Giordano of Orlando, FL, and Suzanne (Don) Hagberg of Sante Fe, NM; brother Lawrence (Robin) of Fayetteville, NY; seven grandchildren; a niece and nephew. Services: 9 AM Tuesday at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 417 S. Orchard Road, Westvale. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours 4-7 PM Monday at Tindale Funeral Home, 1921 W.
