Dear Dad,
So this is it. We all need closure to some degree and this is the start. We know you are with God in Heaven and that is just beautiful! We have seen the signs that you are watching over us.My first was at the store. That is between you and me...lol. Of course we miss you but understand why God needed to take you to a pain free and peaceful place.Continue to watch over us,especially mom.Miss you very much!!

Dear Dad,
I have great comfort knowing you are out of pain,you can breathe easy and all your burdens have been lifted. Knowing that doesn't take away the loss we I feel as each day passes. It has been a difficult year for all of us, we miss your presence. At this your 1 year anniversary I pray you continue to watch over all of us, and may the good Lord continue to hold your soul in the palm of his hands. I miss you Dad.

Happy Father's Day. I felt your strength today. We planted red flowers today and watered your lawn..Andrew said your neighbors are lucky you were a gardener. You would be proud. Dearest Dad,
My first Father's Day without you and it is very hard. The only peace I have is knowing that you are not in pain or struggling to breath.I was finally able to make it to the 5th fl where you were a patient. It has taken this long, but I can't look at the room. Hopefully someday I will have the strengh. I know you are in Heaven and will help me through this struggle. You are always in my heart.We are having hot dogs for lunch on the beach. Just the way you like it. Jerry Leonard special,hot water. I thank you for all the beautiful memories. Dr. Bags got a house in the Hamptons and was complaining about it. I turned to him and told him the wonderful memories we have of the Hamptons growing up as well as my boys. I told him to enjoy it with his children. They will look back someday and thank him for it and cherish the moments forever. I think I made his head spin :) It is true. Life is what you make of it ! My sincerest sympathy to the Leonard Family for the loss of a truly kind and nice man and neighbor. Mr. Leonard taught me how to mow a lawn the "right way". A really nice piece of my childhood is gone. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Leonard and all of the Leonard Family.

Dear Dad,
Even though your spirit was with us on Easter, we all missed your presence.
The grass is greening up and the flowers are starting to bloom. This time of year will always bring fond memories for me. The Yanks are off to a great start taking two from Boston. Its gonna be a tough baseball season without you! I'll miss your insights and thoughts on the Yanks. At least you don't have to hear Joe Buck anymore!!haha. Can't tell you how much I missed your call about my bike. It always meant so much!! Missed knowing that you and mom made your Easter morning visits dropping off the baskets. I miss you so much but I remind myself that you are no longer suffering and are at peace with God.

Dear Dad,
Well, what a day! I miss you so much.My day started by hearing that Lou had joined you in heaven ! Mom told me she was @ Winthrop and all the memories came rushing back. I could see you sitting in triage in so much distress. Your ears must have been ringing. I pray every day that you are @ peace and watching over us and giving us strength to get through each day. Funny I have been thinking about how you taught me how to hold my coffee when you would drive me to Flushing Hospital to do my volunteer work. I never forgot that.Oh, I quit smoking! Stand by me to help me stay smoke free. I love the feeling!

Dear Dad,
I miss you very much! It seems like yesterday you were waving me around third base base at preller stadium for my first homerun. Or when you would get me a ham and cheese sandwich with a yohoo after a hard days work at hans's deli. The time went so fast. Thanks for the good memories no one can take them away from me.
