I never got a chance to meet your uncle-My aunt Edith Wernimont talked about him a lot. My sincerest sympathy. I have been doing extensive genealogy of the family and your uncle seems to be one of the most colorful ones. Cherish your memories.

I met your Uncle over six years ago at The Dime Bank/Bayport. He was such a nice man and I was so impressed by all his energy for his age. He would speak so nicely of his nieces that he traveled with. I left the bank after my first son, shortly after 9/11. I often thought about Mr. Becht. He always waited to see me with his warm smile. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Lauren
