John Hall

Hall - John August, 74, of Ridge, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 15, 2024, after a long and hard journey with PSP. Born on December 7, 1950, John was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who touched the lives of all who knew him. He is survived by his cherished wife, Susan; his son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Christina; his daughter and son-in-law, Taylor and David; and his beloved granddaughters, Reagan, Charlotte, and Anderson (Andi). He was a proud family man who always put his loved ones first, and his legacy of care, kindness, and strength will live on in their hearts. John was also the co-owner of Hall Lane Moving & Storage, where he built a reputation as a hardworking and dedicated professional. His commitment to excellence and integrity in his work mirrored the values he held dear in his personal life. John proudly served as a Coast Guard Reservist, demonstrating his commitment to both his country and community. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, December 27th, 2024 at St. Mark's Church in Shoreham at 10:30am. A celebration of John's life will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. John's memory will live on through his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace. Services entrusted to Michael J.
