John: All your Classmates at Mepham High School Class of 1954 join me in our condolences to your whole family. We missed you at our 50th Class Reunion in 2004 but we knew that you were sick. The entire football team and wrestling squad will never forget your abilities and your great sense of humor. We miss you! God Bless!

Dear Mikki,
All your cousins here in Ireland are most distressed to hear of your brother, and our cousin's John untimely death, may he RIP.
We had been concious of the fact that he had been unwell for some considerable time because of his cancer, but we are shattered to find that, despite the improved reports in recent times which had been encouraging, that he should have been taken from you all so suddenly. I can fully appreciate how desolate both Carol and yourself must feel. Please convey my most sincere feelings of sympathy to Carol on Myra's and my behalf. We both have very fond memories of our trip and visit to you on Long Island, so many years ago now, and meeting both of them at your welcoming party. I can only ask you to try consoling Carol on the basis that God had given her and John thirty two years of a very happy marriage together, despite the pain he had endured over the last few.
All of my family are and will be remembering John in our prayers. We are very conscious of the fact that distance is no difficulty with regard to prayer, and we have arranged to have masses offered for his soul, and indeed for the consolation of both Carol and yourself. Please pass my sympathy and regards to the families of Richard, Jeffrey, and Tom. At this time I can only promise to keep in touch [but then you know already how good I am at keeping that promise].
With loving regards & again, sincere sympathy,
