The years may have passed but the love has never faded. You live in our hearts and in our minds and those fond memories will never fade away, so as stay among us playing the stump fiddle, we smile we laugh and even shed a tear. But I will never let your memory fade from my heart, I love you and miss you. So until we meet again keep your fiddle tuned and your big beautiful smile on your face for you we truly never be forgotten.

Joe was a great man, he was a friend and a mentor, as a young man joining the EMFD E3 he was one of the guys you could find hanging around the firehouse that was always willing to sit and talk fire or just lufe in general he was always willing to give me advice and credit him as one of the men for my successful rising through the ranks to captain. Harry RIP my friend and to the rest of the family my sincere condolences!

My cousin Joe will be greatly missed. He was one of those rare persons who could always put a smile on our faces. I know that he was a special person to my father, Ray Pfeifer, and to my mother, Dolly. I send my love and warmest thoughts to the family.

Joe was one in a million. Every morning as I left LIJ, he would say good bye & tell me to drive safe; making sure I wasn't too Tired to drive home. All of the FD functions we attended together over the many years, if I didn't get over to see him, he would come over. & hug me & make sure life was good!
Love & prayers as you are sent HOME & join Helen, who we know you missed dearly. God Bless, til we meet again my friend!
Love & Prayers to the whole Pfeifer family!

There was no one quite like "Harry." I will never forget the "fashion show" at Harry's house. There were only four of us there ( Helen, Harry, Dan and myself) but because of Harry we were having a show! He had a knack for making ordinary days into something special! My condolences. I am so sorry for your loss of this GREAT MAN. Harry was one in a million! As with Helen's recent passing I must tell you all what an impact Harry, Joe, Pop made on me in my lifetime just the short time I was part of this great family. I learned to smile alot, make people laugh, as he did every day, goofing around was one of his favorite pastimes, as he did professionally as a clown :) He had a Dennis the Menace personality! Everyone lit up when he entered a room. I also learned about faith, yep from Harry! he was devoted to family & friends & community like NONE OTHER. He was strong and always there to lend a hand to anyone, anytime & anywhere they needed it. He was one of the richest men around living in a Levitt home on Sherwood Rd, wanting for nothing as he had his friends, fire dept & family! He would try just about anything....and as long as no one would tell "Helen" we would all stay out of trouble for sure ! I will pray for all of you in your time of mourning, he is at peace with Helen and we all have tens of thousands of memories from this great man, Joe, Dad, Harry, Pop, clown, fireman & friend ~ I am blessed to have known him...
