Mr. Prez once wrote "you must pass to stay with football" on my report card. He changed my life from that point onward.

I remember Coach Prez as this little Italian guy that grabbed my face mask and asked me who I wanted to be. I've been diffrent from that day. Straight tough love that I needed. PDQ

I was the DWC website and thought of Coach Prez. I always wondered what happed to Coach. I was saddened to see that he passed away in 2004. He gave me a shot on the team and even gave me a pair of old cleats since I couldn't afford any new ones. I loved the man and he always motivated me to do better. As I joined the Army and continued to live my life as a civilian, I always remember the encouraging works of Coach Prez. God Bless You Coach and God Has A Good One In You! By The Way, We'll Beat Kennedy! I Know We Will.

I too played at DWC (77-79). Till this day some 40 years later I can still hear Coach's voice. "Get to my office and bring me some oatmeal cookies" lol. When I run into my former teammates we still talk about those Govenor days

Thank God for Coach Prez

To the Prezioso Family,

I am sorry for your loss. The world has lost a beautiful man. Be strong because I know Coach Prez would want it no other way. Coach Prez was an inspiration to me. I am a former player for Coach Prez(1979-1982)at DWC and would always remember how he would have "sit-downs" with me and talked about life in general. His words really did make a difference in my life and I appreciate everything he has done for me. GOD BLESS THE PREZIOSO FAMILY. Walter Kelly, DWC '82

Joe Prezioso... a warm, loving heart, big smile, outstanding attitude and sense of humor. Joe saw the best in people and encouraged them to shine! I've never known a more loving, caring and generous father, grandfather and husband.

Joe Prezioso was a major icon in the lives of everyone who knew him. My deepest sympathy to my best friend and her family. I know the hurt is deep and although he is terribly missed, all the beautiful memories we have of of him, will keep him alive in our hearts forever!

I Love You All...

Dear Mrs. Prezioso,

My sincere condolences to you and everyone in your family. I had the pleasure of working with Joe at Clinton for over thirty-five years. He was an outstanding educator, chairman and coach with high moral and academic standards and he cared deeply about the many thousands of students, including those whom he coached for so many years on the football team. Coach Prez, as he was known to all of us, was a De Witt Clinton High School legend - among the great leaders in the school's long tradition - and he'll be remembered by everyone who knew him.

Sincerely,

David Fuchs
