Josephine Tousey Obituary

TOUSEY - Josephine Katherine, of Greenville (formerly of Warwick and Brooklyn), died on October 14, 2007 at home. She was 88 years old. Born on November 13, 1918 in Locust Valley, NY, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Frances Feleppa Bozzello. She was married to the late Ralph Tousey (1996). She is survived by her daughter, Susan Tousey Shapiro and her husband Howard I. Shapiro, of Greenville; her grandson, David Shapiro; a step-granddaughter, Dina Fried and her husband Tal; two brothers: Charles Bozzello and Joseph Bozzello; four sisters: Philamena Cekala, Dolly Lombardi, Marion Baker and Aggie Vitcritti; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Pamela Tousey, a granddaughter, Claire Josephine Shapiro. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 16th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday at Holy Cross RC Church. Interment will follow in Locust Valley Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home.
