Julia Ferraro

FERRARO - Julia died at her home at the age of 98 with Frank, her husband of 71 years, at her side. Together they had five children, Frank, Edward, Denise (d. 1956), Lisa, and Janine; three grandchildren, David, Christina, and Caitlin; and a great-grandson, Lucas. Julia was a remarkable woman who lived a remarkable life. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed by her family and the countless friends and neighbors, strangers in need, hungry birds and stray animals, and beautiful plants that fell under her loving care during her long life. Arrangements entrusted to the Fullerton Funeral Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:00 a.m. at St. Christopher's Church in Baldwin, NY. Interment L.I. National Cemetery.
