2 months and it still doesn't feel real. Missed you yesterday (Easter) the 1st holiday without you.
I can still feel your presence in everything I do. I hear your laugh which hopefully means you are happy.
Love you Mom!

Dear Mom,

There has not been a day that has gone by that I have not thought of you. I have many loving memories of days gone by. Very special times in Brooklyn at Grandmas, the move and the memories made in Merrick. Last but not least Mattituck. Times spent out there will always bring some of my fondest flashbacks, especially seeing You and Dad and your loving ways. It's comforting to know that you are both together and enjoying the view from your Mattituck in the sky.

There is something I forgot to say at your Funeral Mass during the eulogy and I felt bad about it. So I'd like to say it now in this open entry in your guest book. I thanked Terry, Bob and her family, but forgot to say thank you to Eddie and his family, and Maria and her family for all they did for you in the early caring years after Dad passed. I hope they know I felt it but never said it.

Know that we will miss you. I know that you will be at peace seeing that we will all find comfort in each other and sharing the lovely memories you have left us.

Your love, warmth and unselfishness has made such a positive difference in our lives and I thank you for that.

Love,
Steve

Dear Mom,
I never got to give you your Valentine's Day card but this is what it said:
You were my first Valentine...
The one who loved me,
no matter what...
The one who did her best
to make my life
a good and happy one...
The one who put
her caring into action
every single day.
Mom-
I loved you then,
I love you now.
You'll always be my Valentine.

I miss you mom. It's been a week that you're gone. I visited your friends at St. Martha's today and they miss you too.

I find comfort in knowing there is no Alzheimer's in heaven and that you and dad were together this Valentine's Day.

I love you!!!
Your loving daughter,
Terri
