Lillian M. Yabroudy

1924 - 2021

YABROUDY - Lillian M. 96, of Pompton Plains, formerly a longtime resident of Farmingdale, NY, died peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Born in Brooklyn (East New York) in 1924, Lillian was the daughter of George and Louisa Bott. She graduated from Valley Stream Central H.S. in 1941. During World War II (1942 -1945) she worked at Arma Corporation in Brooklyn as a Test Technician on instruments for the U.S. Navy. At Arma Division of American Bosch Arma Corp. in 1955, she met Electrical Engineer George Yabroudy and they married in 1957. At first, they lived in Amityville, before settling in Farmingdale in 1961. They lived happily there for the next 56 years. Lillian is survived by her husband, George; her children, Cindee Frasca, Elaine Yabroudy and her husband Peter Littlefield, Janet Rose and her husband Richard, and David G. Yabroudy and his wife Kathy; and their grandchildren, Alyssa Rose, Ryan Littlefield, and Hailey Yabroudy. A celebration of life is being planned for the summer time after COVID has been brought under control and friends and family will feel safe to gather and remember Lillian. We decided not to have visiting hours at this time and cremation was private. The family wishes to express its gratitude to all the friends and neighbors who have sent their condolences and/or are remembering Lillian in their prayersIn lieu of flowers, donations to Feeding America in Lillian's memory would be greatly appreciated by the Yabroudy family.
