Madeline Lynch Obituary

LYNCH - Madeline, nee Tees, June 21, 1926 May 9, 2018 Born in Quebec, Madeline grew up in Brooklyn and was a long time resident of Shoreham, NY where she raised her family. Madeline passed away peacefully in Scottsdale, Arizona where she had moved to be closer to family. Survived by her brother Ronald, daughter Denise, sons Brian (Melissa) and Matthew (Lisa), grandchildren Molly, Katherine, Michael, Alexandra and Austin and by great-grandchildren Tessa and Lauren. Predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Clifford. A kind soul with a sense of humor and a keen appreciation for life's simple pleasures, we cherished her love of family and reveled in her quirks, including an irrational fear of dentists, her inability to follow directions when driving outside Suffolk County, a knack for winning at bingo and lotteries and very strong views on not sharing Chinese food. She'll be sorely missed; when we think of her, it'll be with a smile on our faces. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no service. Madeline's ashes will be interred at Calverton National Cemetery with her husband's.
