I am so sad to see Dr. Pettit has passed. He took care of 4 generations of my family. We all thought he was the best and could never be replaced. He was such a genuine and down to earth gentleman. My family sends our condolences to Mrs Pettit and all his family. With deepest sympathy the Murray and Moore families

Condolences to Rita and the "Pettit Family".
Jim was my "Best Friend" for the many years we spent together in West Islip. He was an excellent physician ,a "doctor´s doctor". It was a great privilege to have worked with him these many years.He also worked very hard with the Montfort Congregation raising funds to support education in Central America in memory of our dear friend Fr. Barney Blood.
We will miss you very much.
