Martin Greenberg Obituary
Hofstra University deeply mourns the passing of
Martin B. Greenberg, an alumnus, former trustee, and generous benefactor. Mr.
Greenberg, who graduated in 1960 with an accounting degree from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business, was a lifelong supporter of his alma mater. His legacy includes establishing the Martin B. Greenberg Family Endowed Scholarship and championing the lacrosse program. In recognition of his commitment, the Zarb School's Trading Room, one of the largest academic trading rooms in the country, was named in his honor in 2007. Mr. Greenberg served on the Hofstra University Board of Trustees from 2006 to 2018 and received the Alumni Achievement Award in 2005. In tribute, Hofstra flags have been lowered to half-staff. Service has passed.
