Mary Noone Obituary

NOONE - Mary E., 93, of Long Island, NY, passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025. Born in New York City to Winifred and Michael Gillespie, she attended St. Vincent Ferrer and Catherine McAuley schools with her cherished sister, Kathleen. Mary worked as a secretary for the Brooklyn Union Gas Company and married Gerard J. Noone, Sr. of Brooklyn. They shared a long and happy marriage, and had four devoted children, Gerard Jr., Theresa, Barbara, and Michael. Mary is survived by her four loving children; eight cherished grandchildren; and four beautiful great-grandchildren. Reposing at The Fredrick J. Chapey & Sons East Islip Funeral Home, 200 East Main Street (1/2 Mile West of the S.S. Parkway, Exit 45 W). Celebration of the Liturgy of Christian Burial Thursday 11AM at St. Patrick's R.C. Church, Bay Shore, LI. Burial to follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, LI. Visitation Wednesday from 3PM-5PM and 7PM-9PM. www.chapeyfamily.com
