To the Kantor family:

I am Robert Schoen, the son of Michael Schoen (born Meyer Schoenfeld).

Michael was a long-time friend of Morris, and they remained friends for decades.

Michael passed away on March 7, 2017 in West Hills, CA. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Pearl, five years ago.

I am going through photos that I found in my father's apartment, and there is a really nice photo of Morris and Michael. If you would like to contact me, please send me an email.

Sincerely,
Robert

Morris was my co-worker, but really he was my mentor at United Media. He taught me that airbrush paint should be the consistency of heavy cream. When the coffee truck came around our office, he asked me if I wanted a little, "Coffee and..." The "and" was a pastry or something we shared. I remembered his flawless attire, his wonderful moustache, and his jokes! Morris was a true gentleman and an artist and I will continue to miss him. I will always remember Morris!

My deepest sympathies to the Kantor family.
You were an amazing, talented man, Morris, who always made me and those around you laugh. May God keep you safe always.

I had the pleasure to work with Morris in the early 1980s. The man was a wizard of the airbrush, in the days before art departments photoshopped all the pictures. But what i remember most was his sly smile and his pointed sense of humor. A visit to Mo made every day better. His memory lives on.

Morris was my favorite uncle. He was a pleasant man to visit and so good with children. As the years went by and life took us in different directions,I was only to have the memories of the family gatherings. But the loss of Morris brought hurt inside as if we had never been parted in life. I will always love you uncle Morris. May God take you into his arms with love forever.
