Neil Esposito Obituary

ESPOSITO - Neil Bruce, of Bayport, New York, is now in God's hands after a brave battle with lung cancer. He left us on September 8, 2007, just shy of his 71st Birthday. Neil was constantly surrounded by his loving family until the Lord called him home. Until then, Mr. Esposito, the founding partner of Esposito, Fuchs, Taormino and Fuchs (formerly Joseph Zak and Company) was a devoted husband to Vera Tuozzo-Esposito for fifty-three years, a loving father to Thomas Joseph as well as Thomas' wife Barbara (nee Weltsek), of Mount Sinai; his beloved daughter Christine Dougherty (nee Esposito) and her husband Terence of Blue Point, and Tara Fries. Mr. Esposito is survived by eleven adoring grandchildren: Alexandra, Theodore, Justina, Alana, Paige, Thomas Jr., Gabrielle, Brendan, Liam, Shayna and name-sake, Neil Thomas. Mr. Esposito is further survived by his devoted brother John of Brooklyn and his loving sister, Sister Angela of Jamaica, Queens. Mr. Esposito had been Chairman of the Board of the Brookhaven Memorial Hospital, Past President of the Patchogue Rotary and an active member of the Restoration Committee of the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Esposito, will be reposing Wednesday September 12th from 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM, and Thursday, September 13th 2PM to 4PM and 7PM to 9PM, at Robertaccio Funeral Home, Inc., 85 Medford Avenue, Patchogue, New York 11772. A Mass of Christian Burial shall be held Friday, September 14th at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Snow, Blue Point, New York. Interment shall proceed at Saint Lawrence Cemetery, Sayville, New York.
