Hey Paul,
I was in the process of moving and I found the prayer card for you. I still don't know how to react...Miss you bro...even now.

I didn't know Paul very well, even though we were cousins, having grown up in different states. But I'll always remember how kind he was to me when I visited his grandmother, my dear Aunt Pauline, in Miller Place, when she was dying. That's when I learned how a small act of kindness can make such a difference in someone's life. I know Paul is with my aunt now, in a sweeter place.

Paul was my friend, I loved him very much and I know he knew it. He looked out for my family and they loved him too. Paul and I spent many an hour drinking beer laughing. We would devise ways to solve the world's problems, argue over stupid stuff and think of ways to get our women mad at us.

Look up patience in the dictionary and you will not see Paul's picture, look up loyalty or friendship and you'll find him there. Of all the people I have known Paul was and will remain one of my best friends- He never betrayed me, let me down or stopped caring. He was there when I was down and celebrated when times were good. As I sit here trying to type with tears and snot running down my face it dawns on me that the chances of ever finding another friend like Paul are slim.

The loss Paul (Shocka-Short-Stuff) will stay with me for all my days.

I wanted to tell him so much that I would watch out for his little JohnnyJ, but I did not get the chance. I pray he is resting in peace as I am sure that he knew he was loved and that his last thoughts were of that.

God, please rest his soul and please never let anyone who really knew him ever forget him, as I never will.

I went to school with Paul from Kindergarten until we graduated from High School. I can still picture him in my head how he looked in Kindergarten, he cried every day!! But what a nice guy. May he rest in peace.

Paul, my older brother as well as David...the Step part was dropped years ago. Couldn't ask for better brothers. Took the blame for many of my messes, and showed me the things a BIG BRO should. I love you Paul. I miss you!

Paul was a good friend to me. When I had surgery, he was the first one to come visit me, bringing my favorite snack of chips and dip. He was a good listener too. I have a lot of wonderful and fun memories of Paul, and I will remember him always.
