Rachel-
You would be so proud to see Nick teaching his very difficult class at James E Allen. He is an amazing teacher and a wonderful person but I am sure you know that! The whole DiScalfani family remembers you with love and so does your church family at the Presbyterian Church of Islip. Love, Laurie D

Since I joined the Marines I have been away from Long Island for a while. I came back and found out that my old friend had passed. Rachel, we were friends since we first met in the 3rd grade. We played everything from football to practical jokes on neighbors. You were always able to make me laugh and beat me in bike races. My only regret is that I didn't keep in touch when I left. You know that You are in prayers and I will always remember You.

Rachel,
I miss your smile and your laughter. I remember when you were here on Dee's birthday helping her opening her presents and trying on some clothes and making all of us laugh. Then we were watching a video of Nick when he was little and I said I don't have to watch this and you said yes you do you are FAMILY I just wanted to say thank you for saying that I will never forget that word. Since then I always remember what you said. Yes I do feel like FAMILY. I also remember when you and your mom were sitting on the couch holding each other and Aunt Linda trying to read all about daughters everyone took their turn trying to read it without crying. I just sat there thinking how wonderful you and your mom looked next to each other. I know how much you loved your mom and she loved you so very much. Please Rachel help your mom and Nick get through this rough time without you. You are in my prayers.
Love Always,
Janice (FAMILY)
