Richard Darnowski Obituary
passed at the age of 72. Beloved by his family and friends, looked up to by so many, his passing has left all with a deep sense of loss, but also gratitude for the time we had with him. His quick wit and generosity was felt by all who knew him. In his life he set countless positive examples for so many. Never preaching, but always giving gentle, sound guidance in a quiet yet commanding way. For the younger members of the family, he set a wonderful example simply by the way he lived and the dignified manner in which he carried himself. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Andrea Lella Darnowski; his parents Richard and Marie; and sister Donna DeRosa. He is survived by his son Andrew; brother
Brian (Debbie); aunt
Dolores; uncle Lou; sister and brother-in-law Phyliss and John Faraguna; nieces
Jessica (Eddie and Noah), and
Andrea (Ray, R.J. and James); nephews Eric (Zachary and Isabella), Daniel (Carley), Richard (Amanda, Ivy Mae), Matthew; and so many godchildren and lifelong friends. Services concluded.

I´m am so very shocked and sorry to hear this sad news. Rich was an all around great man. He spoke of his family with such love and pride, it was palpable. Take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his love, Andrea.

Richie was the most generous, caring and non-judgmental person we have had the pleasure of knowing. He would make anyone feel welcome and at ease. His quick wit was unmatched and we were lucky enough to have shared some special and memorable moments with both he and Andrea. He will be missed by all, but his memory will live on. RIP Richie. I don´t know too many people that met Rich and didn´t have something wonderful to say about him. He truly had a gift to connect to people, understand them, make them feel special and they mattered. He touched my life and I know I would not be where I am today without his generosity. He has left many great memories for me. You don´t meet someone like Rich every day. You surely will be missed.
