I was 29or30 back in the early nineties. I had degenerative bone loss and I lost my teeth early . Dr. Mascola made me a beautiful round house( that´s what it was called back then) during the process I declared bankruptcy and he continued to do it because he said he had a feeling about me. For several years I made small payments until one day I received a big payment and sent him the rest of the money and he was so happy . Not because of the money but because he knew I would do it. I´m sorry he died so young. I loved him .

Dr. Mascola was my dentist 30 years ago. I needed a roundhouse ( it was what it was called then) he did the prepwork in one day. It was a brutal 8 hours for all of us, but he kept us laughing. I adored him. I thought of him last night and I looked him up. I found this. I am very sure his family and many colleagues miss him very much.

Betsy:
I was a nextdoor neighbor of yours for only three short years. I heard about Richard's untimely passing through the Newsday article. My wife JoAnn and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family. I knew Richard as a gentleman in our passing brief conversations. I wish I would have known him better. I missed knowing a great man and an exemplary leader. I will remember you and your family in my prayers.
