I just found out about Richies passing. I am devastated. We were best friends . Unfortunately I moved and didn't get to talk to him as often. He did come to visit me and my parents many years ago. We had the best times. He loved all of my animals and they loved him. RIP Richie. You will always be forever loved.

I was shocked and saddened to read of Rich's passing in Newsday. I was a friend and teammate in high school and through college. Lost touch with Rich after I got married. The obit in the paper had no information about Rich's service or burial....only that a memorial service in the future would be listed in Newsday. Very little chance I will see it. If anyone knows where Rich is buried or has any details on the memorial service, I would be greatly appreciative to have this information.

Rich and Joan -- London, 2010

October 22, 2018

He was truly one of the kindest men I knew with a great sense of humour, a love of literature and movies but most of all animals. He was my dear friend and will be missed by one and all who knew him.
