Pure gentleman. Even during those crazy times of college during the late 60's- this guy was a pure gentleman. A quiet, soft-spoken man with a huge fun-loving smile is what I remember of Bob. I can picture him now walking by me on campus, as we passed we acknowledged each other with a smile that said it all. Though we never hung out often, the bonding we felt with one another was there- we both got it. Thinking about Bob at this very second brought a "pang" to my heart. A little sadness that such a fine human being is no longer around to spread what I knew he was all about. So with his passing, I can't say I miss him since I have not seen him for decades, but just the thought of such a wonderful, sweet man, made my day. Thanks Bob.

Bob was my "pledge brother" in Delphic fraternity. We pledged in 1965. I regret not knowing any details of his passing and not seeing him for many years. I will always remember him as a reserved guy with a good sense of humor and an easy laugh.

So sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He lived across the hall from me in Bouton Hall at SUNY, New Paltz in 1964 and 1965. He was a fraternity brother in Delphic and a "solid' guy and a wonderful athlete.
