Ronnie. Cherished grandfather of Alexa. Dear brother of Linda (Tom) Fattoruso, Joe (Pat), Jack (the late Eileen) and the late Bill (Lynda). Adored uncle to many nieces and nephews. Retired Detective of the Nassau County Police Department. Services to be held at The Branch Funeral Home, 190 East Main St. Smithtown, NY 11787. Visitation on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm, and Friday 9-11 am. Closing prayer 11 am at the funeral home with an interment to follow at St. James Episcopal Cemetery. www.branchfh.com

for some reason, I had a flashback of our high school resting match back in 1964 where you kicked my a**, so I decided to Google your name and I was saddened to learn of your death. We got to know each other a little bit better after you enrolled at CW Post. anyhow, I always thought you were a great guy and rest in peace in heaven.

Hi Ron, hope you have made lots of friends in heaven, bc I know that when one family member is saved the whole house is saved and I know Barb is saved and has delivered the message to many. Keep and eye on Ronny and Ashley and say Hi to them for me. Miss you all... love and peace Lisa

It was an honor to spend time with Ron going for walks, reading the Bible, playing connect 4, and just hanging out. He was a trooper, brave and strong. Love you Ron, see you in heaven. Miss you until then- Lisa
