Roy DeNunzio Obituary

DeNUNZIO-Roy C., age 56, passed away at home peacefully with his family by his side on February 11, 2005, after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. A resident of Bethpage and Manhattan, he is survived by his life-partner, David Mash. Beloved son of Joseph and Marie (DiOrio) DeNunzio. Loving brother and brother-inlaw of Bob and Barbara (Cermak) DeNunzio. Also survived by his niece and her husband, Jennifer (DeNunzio) and Andrew Duran, and Michael DeNunzio, grandniece, Allysa Duran, and many loving friends and relatives. Producer and Director of St. Martin of Tours Church "See How They Run" and "Dracula." A 1970 Hofstra graduate, where he starred in "The Music Man" and "How to Succeed in Business." An Editor at Alliance Capitol/Sanford Bernstein, N.Y.C., Roy was a writer and author published in several literary journals. He closely followed his love and interest of theatre, literature, music, and all the fine arts. His family gratefully acknowledges the support of St. Vincent Cancer Care and Good Shepherd Hospice of Carle Place, N.Y. Visitation will be Tuesday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM, at the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc., 234 Broadway, Bethpage, N.Y. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, 9:45 AM, at St. Martin of Tours R.C. Church, with interment following at St. Charles Cemetery, East Farmingdale. As an alternative to flowers, donations may be sent to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Inc., 2221 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 131, El Segundo, CA 90245.
