Dear Anne and Stephanie,
My heart goes out to you and your families at this time, knowing your heartache, we too lost our mom this year.
You know each and every one of us have wonderful memories and stories to tell of growing up in Miss Sofie's neighborhood. She was always there for us and was so very kind and generous and loving. We will miss her dearly. God Bless you and all of your families. Lovingly,
Dale Bowie

Dear Stephanie and Family,
I was saddened to hear about your mother's passing. She was my mother's dear friend for many years. We will all miss her and have many fond memories of her.

Ann, Stephanie and family,
I was so sorry to hear that you lost your mother. I know you will miss her dearly.
Sophie was a wise, humble, beautiful woman who was such a blessing to anyone who knew her.
I remember her helping our family in so many ways over the years. Illnesses, sewing, kind advice.
When my daughter Beth had her senior prom, I made the gown but was afraid to put in the zipper. Sophie agreed to have me mail it to her, she put in the zipper and sent it back to me. It was perfect.
My parents miss her already, and we will all miss hearing stories of how hard she kept on working, always serving others.
We will see her again one day, and I know her crown will be covered with jewels! May God bless all of you and keep you close.
With love and kind regards,
Pat Ward Gentry
