Stephen Wrobel Obituary

Wrobel - Stephen, passed away on April 17, 2024 at home in Island Park, NY after a battle with cancer. His wife of 53 years, Mary Jayne Wrobel,

was by his side. Devoted uncle to Dawn Koester (Tom), Carri Wrobel (Joe); great-uncle

to Christopher, Jillian and

Jeffrey. Stephen was born and raised in Long Beach and graduated from Long Beach High School. Steve was a talented and hardworking man who was willing to take on any project around the house or in the yard for family and friends. He was very proud of his restored '57 Chevy and enjoyed taking part in car shows in both New York and Florida. The family will receive friends Friday April 26, from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 7:00PM-9:00PM at the Christopher T. Jordan Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Long Beach Road, Island Park, NY. Funeral Mass Saturday, April 27, 9:15AM Sacred Heart Church, Island Park, NY. Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Stephen's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. www.jordanfh.com
