I JUST heard the news of Steve's passing and I am CRUSHED. I was Steve and Dave's first employee. At the time they called the company A&S. This was around 1984 or '85. I was in high school and used to sweep the floors. When I went to college they let me work there on summer break. He was so generous that Steve would give me a "Christmas bonus" when I left in August for school!
Upon hearing the bad news my mind was flooded with so many memories of the laughs we had both in the shop and outside of work. Unfortunately for me we lost touch many years ago. My condolences go out to the entire Dresher family. Mike

Dear Bernice and Gerald,
As we shared times teaching and dropping by your home in Huntington, always knowing that we were welcome, it was so clear how much you loved your family. We share your sadness at Steven's passing and pray for his comfort in God's hands.

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Stevens death. He was a great guy and funny! We grew up together on 7th Ave and had some crazy fun times as kids. His family always welcomed me and my brothers into there home. I fortunately was able to stay in touch with him in our adult life. He was a special person and will be missed. My deepest condolences to the Dresher family.

Steve was one of the best coaches of girls softball I knew. They loved to play for him. While he taught them the game ,more importantly ,he made them laugh, he kept them loose ,he taught them to enjoy!
As a teammate his love of the game and of the friends he played with will be memories long lasting.
