Ted Mendocha Obituary

MENDOCHA - Ted E., residing in Port Jefferson Station, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at his home. He lived for 90 years and enjoyed many happy times with his family. He is survived by Olga, his wife of 68 years, sons Douglas (Ann), David (Marion), Donald (Sandra) and Danny (Denise), granddaughters Karen Schubert, Jennifer Phinney, Danielle and DeAnna Mendocha and 2 great-granddaughters Rebecca and Sarah Phinney. He was predeceased by a grandson David Mendocha and a daughter-in-law Dorothy Mendocha. A Memorial Service will be held at Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle on Higbie Lane, off Brooksite Drive on Saturday, June 13th at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the Smithtown Christian School or to Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle in Ted's name.

"Grandpa" was the best to me. I loved him and miss him alot. On every sunday, I cry at night because I miss him. He used to come like 3 or 4 times in a year, every chiristmas. He was the perfect grandpa. (Ted's Grandaughter)
