I just found out of Terry's passing and i'm really saddened. I've worked with Terry for almost 8 years at a printing plant where he was the hardest working and most humble human being. I witnessed his care and love for his wife Tina through some of the most difficult times in one's life, his work ethic and dedication to his daily responsibilities, his professionalism, his admiration for his family in Long Island, his love of country, his jokes, stories from his vacations at Emerald Isle NC, ...he sure was one of a kind and he will continue to be an inspiration for me. I'm sure he is in heaven. May he continue to rest in peace.

Terry I didn't ever meet you but still know you thru Deneen. My memories of you are the Conversations I've had with your daughter. And the goodies you used to send for her clients we always enjoyed them and your generosity. Deneens broken heart will take some time to mend she was still getting over the loss of your wife Tina. I know why you had to go because she was waiting For you in heaven and now you are together. I promise to be a good friend to your daughter and support her while she heals from your passing.
RIP Terrance McGovern

I will miss my 'Uncle Terry' especially during Mets baseball season. I will wear the spring training tee shirt you sent me in your honor and memory. Knowing you gave me a heightened perspective on what is important in life. You lived your life with passion and chose to be happy - a lesson we all need and I thank you. You continue to be an inspiration. My love to the McGovern siblings and family.

I'll never forget the first time I met Terry. I was 11 and he came into the kitchen and said, "hey kid, watch this". Then he ripped the cap off a Piels and poured it directly down his throat, no breaks. It was awesome.
