For the first time in my life I am without my big brother. It is difficult to comprehend. Difficult to accept. I know that Annie was waiting for you. Rest now. She'll watch over you. I'll see you again, Spike Tully.

Uncle Walter always had a compliment for me and I was very touched he called me at work on my birthday (you know which one!) Sadly, my kids may not remember meeting him when we came to N.Y. but I can share pictures and stories...you will be missed.

This past Tuesday night I stopped to check up on my parents and found two packages at the front door. I handed them to my mother and we noticed that the boxes were Christmas gifts from Uncle Walter. For a moment there, it felt like he was saying good-bye to us.
