Not sure what to say?

I believe Walter Tully was my Godfather. We lost touch nit he 1980s when my family moved to the Chicago area. God Bless Him. My Father, his Marine buddy, William Ducey, also passed away.

walter will be misses by my family and myself. he has been apart of my life for a very long time. as he watched me grow up as a baby crying at the end of the driveway to a grown women (still crying at the end of the driveway, lol) to watching my own children grow up,
i will miss his caring calls every month to see how i am . and see how the family is. there is a special place in my heart just for him, and that can never be taking away.
we loved you walter. now that your in that special...

For the first time in my life I am without my big brother. It is difficult to comprehend. Difficult to accept. I know that Annie was waiting for you. Rest now. She'll watch over you. I'll see you again, Spike Tully.

Uncle Walter always had a compliment for me and I was very touched he called me at work on my birthday (you know which one!) Sadly, my kids may not remember meeting him when we came to N.Y. but I can share pictures and stories...you will be missed.

I will miss my uncle, his laughter and his strange sense of humor. He will remain in my continued prayers always.

It was a true pleasure to have worked with Walter as an auxiliary police officer. He served the County of Suffolk with distinction. I will miss him.

Walter, you will surly be missed by so many. Your dedication with Suffolk County Auxiliary Police Program for more then 35 years, and all of your professional help you have given to so many on the firing range, Your friend always, Bernie Smith

This past Tuesday night I stopped to check up on my parents and found two packages at the front door. I handed them to my mother and we noticed that the boxes were Christmas gifts from Uncle Walter. For a moment there, it felt like he was saying good-bye to us.
