As a young teacher starting out in Miller Place in 1970 I met many wonderful families. The Shember Family certainly stood out as exemplary in terms of what a "family" means. Always positive, supportive and available when needed. Later on in our lives we reconnected again in the Trinity Lutheran Church . It has been a great time with them sharing our faith and friendship with them. I will miss them both especially Wes at the monthly Mens breakfasts that we both enjoyed so much. He and Alice are reunited again in Gods kingdom . Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Harry and Andrea Faujknor
