Vicki and Kim , I'm sorry that I will miss the celebration. Beverlee and I shared a few years working with the Alpha Phi alum group to establish the WMU chapter and build the house. She was very instrumental in the success of the sorority and it was a joy to work with her. I greatly admire her many life achievements. She was amazing!! Sincere condolences, Marian Klein

I was very surprised to read Bev's obituary as I played Bridge with her just a few months ago. She was always a good player and fun to be around.

Bev White was our neighbor for many years.
She was a wonderful woman, who we will dearly miss, and were honored to have known.
Some of my favorite memories of Bev are: her love of her family (she always was telling us what her daughters up to, and she had photos of her twin grandsons up in her living room of whom she very proud. I also believe one of her son in laws spoke French, which she always thought was a wonderful talent); She also frequently made "sun tea "- Bev would often have her iced tea sitting outside on the sidewalk. Bev also loved cats (we babysat her sweet Siamese cat Meggie many years ago when Bev made a road trip out to California in her Prius - which got incredible mileage as she proudly told us upon her return). Bev also had been in a sorority which she loved, and when my daughter was "rushing" over in Chicago, Bev had lots of tips, and shared wonderful memories.
Bev was smart, caring, a great conversationalist and a wonderful neighbor all those many years. She watched my girls grow up in the neighborhood and she and my husband always joked about sharing a birthday.
It was an honor and a pleasure knowing Bev. Our condolences to her family on their loss of this truly special lady.
