Brenda, Jon & Greg,
Another Laurel legend has graduated from us to be with his Lord. What a gentle giant of a man! He and Barbara loved God, family, friends and America. He was quiet most of the time but when he had something to say it meant something. I met him in 1966 at the Laurel Methodist Church. He shared with me what John Wesley stated concerning 3 keys to success: Do Good - Do No Harm and Stay in Love with God. As a 16 year old teen I never forgot that moment. I have great respect for your parents and the God life that they chose to live. You are surely blessed beyond measure. So now my encouragement to each of you is to follow your dad and mom's lead in serving Christ as we look forward to seeing them again when our name is called and our ticket is pulled. May you feel the warmth of God's Spirit and the comfort of family and friends.
