Charlotte Salavani, 69, of Lynn Haven, FL passed into the promise of eternal life on Monday December 3, 2012.

Mrs. Salavani was born on February 6, 1943 in Zurich, Switzerland. She immigrated to the United States in 1962. She was a strong woman, funny, Young-In-Heart with many talents & gifts, full of life, laughter, a giver, hospitable, and loved the Lord. She touched many lives with her kindness and generosity in many countries. She leaves those of us who will always admire, love, and cherish her memory. She was a member of the Rock of Panama City for the past 23 years.

She is survived by her husband of over 28 years, Reza Salavani, a daughter, Michelle Snyder- Wells and her husband Ron Wells of Charleston, SC, three sons; Jerry Mejia and his wife Candy of Norfolk, VA, Troy Hipolito of Atlanta, GA, and Jay Hipolito of Palm Bay, FL and seven grandsons, Justin Mejia and wife Jennifer, Tyler Mejia, Ryan Snyder, Daniel Hipolito, Mathew Hipolito, J.C Hipolito, and Choice Hipolito, and one great granddaughter, Makenzy Maryah Mejia.

A memorial service for Mrs. Salavani will be conducted at 1:00 PM. Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Rock of Panama City with Apostle F. Nolan Ball, 2413 North Harris Ave., Panama City, FL 32405

The family would like to thank Covenant Hospice and their staff for the care given to Mrs. Salavani.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Charlotte Salavani.

My precious Charlotte. How I miss you! It’s been years and I still think about you so many days. You touched the lives of my children and myself so much! You were like my second Mom. I have yet to meet someone like Charlotte. She was witty, charming, humorous, loving, giving, honest, compassionate, and generous. Truly one of a kind! We all lost a very special lady and heaven gained a very special angel. As I type this I am looking at her picture and it captures who Charlotte was, full of life, laughter and love. I love you Charlotte and will miss you forever!

My beautiful Godmother, my beautiful Angel. I will celebrate your life until the day i see u in heaven. I am so thankful for you. I know when I hear laughter I will think of you. Many of your words and lessons throughout my life are etched in my heart. I thank you for being such a wonderful friend to my mother as well. My thoughts & prayers are with you all during this time of great loss in your lives. Charlotte was truly a unique woman and will be missed dearly by many, myself included. Time goes so quickly. It's seems only a short time ago since I met her and Reza, but it was 22 years ago. All it takes is one blink of the eye and the ones we love can be gone from this earth, but we will see her again and I bet she will have redecorated all of heaven before we can get there, including our mansions :-) I know that she loved helping others in many ways and had a natural flare to design, but the one thing that sticks in my the most is the time she lovingly told me that if she passed that she would donate her eyes to me. I told her that was very kind of her, but at this time is wasn't scientifically or medically possible. She has a great out look on life though, she told me with a big smile on her face, that perhaps one day they would be able to do so. Thank you Charlotte for offering me your eyes. I send my love from my heart to heaven every time you come to my mind.God bless and keep all that love her

Charlotte and I were best friends for forty years. We had some wonderful times together. I dearly loved her. I feel a great loss now that she is gone from this earth, but I know that she is now in the center of the Glory of God. She was always such a loving person, giving of herself and her own belongings to whomever was in need. My heart goes out to her family and I pray that God will continue to bless each and every one of them with His comforting hands.
