Michael Mentzer Obituary

Michael Edward Mentzer
Michael Edward Mentzer is now guarding Heaven's Gate. Mike passed peacefully at home on April 5, 2021. Mike was a Marine and a very skilled Mason. Mike was also a member of the 40 & 8. Mike was born in Pottstown, PA in 1956. He was a loving husband, a beloved brother and a caring father. Mike loved riding and building motorcycles and was in the wind whenever the chance arose. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Richard Mentzer, mother Stella (Drumheller) Mentzer. Mike is survived by his wife, Kathleen Ciddie Menter, his two sisters, Karen Hurst (Joe), Kathy Mentzer; brother, Donald Mentzer; his son, Joshua Baldes; daughter, Nicole Cooper (Anthony), grandson, Jaden Cooper; his nephews, Cameron and Kyle Hurst, nieces, Tamera and Leigh Baker and Sarah Baugh. He left many brothers and friends so he could do his duty as a Marine. He will be missed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The Korean War Veterans Association Department of Florida and Chapter 173 Casselberry send our deepest sympathies on the passing of our Brother In Arms Michael Edward Mentzer (US Marine Corp.).
He served his country well and honorably.
