Robert Bungay Obituary
Mr. Robert "Bob" Vernon Bungay, age 75, of Panama City, FL, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 9, 2021, at Ascension Sacred Heart after a lengthy illness.
He was born September 5, 1945, in Perth Amboy, NJ, pre-deceased by his parents.
Survived by his wife, Barbara of 52 years; their two sons, Brian and Michael Bungay and two daughters, Cheyanne and Samantha Bungay; grandchildren, Zachary and Cole Bungay and 3 great grandchildren, Koah, Carter and Dawson Bungay. He also is survived by his sister, Marjorie Klaus (James) of Port St Lucie, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
After 22 years of service, he retired from the US Air Force and had retired from the State of Florida after 20 years. Bob was a member of Carlisle Baptist Church, serving in different capacities of the church. He enjoyed computers and spending time with his family.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2021 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Panama City.
Funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Joshua Fiddler officiating; Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Panama City.

Bob and I worked together for the State of Florida several years. We and his family also are members of Carlisle Baptist Church. He will be missed very much. My prayers are with his family and remember I love you all.
