I'm so sorry to hear about Clay's passing. Clay was a good friend back in my High School days. We hung out together at St. Andrews Baptist Church and had a blast. I will always remember that smile as well. We will keep your family in our prayers.

I will never forget how Clay's big smile added to our fun times and made the tough times easier. Hearing Clay-Doh's big ol yella truck riding past the house always made me chuckle. Heaven has a wonderful addition to the choir now, that's for sure! Clay Doss was a fine friend and I'm blessed to have known him. Deepest sympathies to his family.

I will never forget how Clay's smile added to the fun times and made the hard times easier. He was always there when you needed him...just hearing that big ol yella truck comin down the road let ya know that everything would be alright! Heaven has a new member of the choir, that's for sure. "Clay-Doh" was a fine friend and I'm blessed to have known him.
Deepest sympathies to his family.

I'm so sad to hear of my childhood friends passing. Clay and I grew up in St Andrews. We often hung out after school at St. Andrews Baptist Church playing basketball or walking past Lake Huntington on the way home always finding a reason to stop and play. Those who knew him were blessed. He could always make me laugh with his wonderful story telling. My thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones at this difficult time. May God's grace and mercy abound.

If Clay was anything like he was back then, he had to be a wonderful guy. May God bless you all and the holysprit comfort you at this time. See you again buddy.

Clay had a kind heart and always made me feel cool even though I was a year younger as we grew up together at Saint Andrew Baptist Church. When I think of Clay I think of his happy-go-lucky attitude, his humor and most of all his infectious smile. Our paths parted after high school, but I never forgot Clay Doss. Rest in my Peace my friend.

I do not know Clay's family but my heart goes out to you all. He and I waltzed often together on roller skates at Silver Circle in 6th grade and beyond and graduated together from Bay in 1980...he was an excellent skater and such a fun friend. I had hoped to see him at the BHS 1980 30th Reunion and noticed when he was not there. I have missed him over the years. God Bless you all and may you find peace and serenity during this difficult time.

I am almost at a loss for words! Clay has always had a special place in my heart! Same St. Andrews neighborhood....best of friends...sang in Choir and Performing Arts group at Bay High, took me to the 1979 Prom...took me to the ER in his old yellow truck when a black enamel spray paint can blew up in my face while working on my homecoming float....he kept me laughing...was there when I was crying...I could go on. I will miss you, Clay. See you in the big Choir loft in Heaven! Love, Dora Zacchio-Batt
