SHAMOKIN - Angel M. Sock, 58, of 32 N. Anthracite St., died Friday, March 1, 2024, at her residence.
She was born in Mount Carmel, April 13, 1965, a daughter of Samuel Sock, and the late Helen (Deitz) Sock.
She was a graduate of Shamokin Area High School.
Angel was employed as a truck driver working construction. At the same time raising her children, she put herself through school earning her Class A CDL, a certificate in welding from ITT Tech, in Selinsgrove, and becoming a heavy equipment operator through Schuylkill Training and Technology.
While working, her life revolved around her work. She loved spending time with her family, camping, ATV riding, shooting pool and spending time with her pup, Izzy.
Angel is survived by her father, Samuel Sock; her children, Kelly Neidlinger and her husband, George, of Lincoln, Robert Yost and his companion, Theresa Shepper, of Shamokin, and Kinda Yost, of Shamokin; her grandchildren, Heidie, Piper, Reilly and Ava; a brother, Kiley Sock; her best pup friend, Izzy; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her companion, Thomas Hawk; and several other family members and close friends and her other favorite pup friend, Mayhem.
Services will be private for the immediate family.
