Ann Varzally Obituary

SOUTH COVENTRY TOWNSHIP — Ann M. Varzally, 90, of Coventry Manor Nursing Home, and formerly of North Franklin Street, Pottstown, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at the nursing home.

Born in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Johanna (Kovelskie) Kalejta,

She married George M. Varzally, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, ladies auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, St. Aloysius Senior Citizens and the Pottstown Senior Citizens.

Surviving are four sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael A. and Joyce Varzally, of Philadelphia, Andrew J. and Susan Varzally, of Boyertown, Mark S. Varzally, of Erie, and Jan G. Varzally, of Boyertown; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley and Helen Kalejta, of Shamokin, and Thomas and Joan Kalejta, of Pottstown.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, John and Edward Kalejta, and four sisters, Stella Weary, Eleanor Dressler, Josephine Wingate and Joanna Kalejta.

VARZALLY — Ann M. Varzally, 90, of Coventry Manor Nursing Home, and formerly of North Franklin Street, Pottstown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Aloysius New Cemetery, Lower Pottsgrove Township. Hours of calling will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Walker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 High St., Pottstown. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Aloysius R.C.C., 223 Beech St., Pottstown 19464.
