Anna Labowski Obituary
Born in Mount Carmel July 13, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Sophie (Bodziak) Secula.
She attended schools in Marion Heights.
Anna was married in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Towson, Md., July 21, 1939, to Peter P. Labowski, who preceded her in death on March 4, 1980.
She was a retired garment factory worker. She had worked at Dale Manufacturing in Marion Heights and the Lady Hope dress factory in Kulpmont.
She was a member of Holy Angels Church in Kulpmont and the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
She often spoke of how she loved to dance with her late husband, Peter. She enjoyed bus trips to the casino, playing bingo and cooking old-time recipes for her family. She most of all treasured the time she spent with her great-grandchildren.
Anna is survived by two daughters, Roseann Nagy and husband, Bill, of Marion Heights, Darlene Dick, of Marion Heights; five grandchildren, Sharon Cichon and husband, Tom, Joe Nagy and wife, Theresa, Michelle Dick, Dennis Dick Jr. and wife, Kathleen, and Jenn Dick; five great-grandchildren, Karissa Rose Cichon, Tommy Cichon, Cameron Dick, Michael and Jasmine Dick; two sisters, Rosemarie Spieles, of Norristown, and Dolores Seroski, of Sparks, Nev., and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by twin daughters, Sharon and Sandra, in 1947; a grandson, Michael John; four brothers, and six sisters.

LABOWSKI — Anna R. Labowski, 95, of 101 W. Melrose St., Marion Heights. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Angels Church, Kulpmont, with the Rev. Andrew Stahmer officiating. Burial will be at Patronage of Mother of God Cemetery in Marion Heights. The viewing will be private. Everyone is invited to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Holy Angels Church, 855 Spruce St., Kulpmont 17834; or VNA Hospice, 21 W. Independence St., Shamokin 17872. Joseph J. Stutz Inc. Funeral Home, 40 S. Market St., Mount Carmel, supervisor Joseph J. Stutz III, is in charge of arrangements.
