PAXINOS - Barry S. Fireck, 56, of 1405 Old Reading Road, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family and friends, Wednesday, March 17, 2021.
He was born in Fort Carson, Colorado, March 25, 1964, a son of the late Stanley J. and Betty (Culp) Fireck. Barry lived in the Paxinos area for the past 15 years.
He was a graduate of Bonnabel High School, in Kenner, Louisiana.
Barry was employed as a supervisor at the Walmart Distribution Center.
He was a member of Mother Cabrini Church, Shamokin, the East End Fire Co. and the Loyal Order of Moose, Shamokin Lodge 1149 Tuesday night mixed bowling league.
He is survived by his life-long friends and guardian angels, Kim and Dave Hunt; two brothers, Larry Fireck and his wife, Judith, and their children, Lance and Michael Fireck Sr., and Scott Fireck and his wife, Paula, and their children, Richmond Boykin, Jacqe' Fireck Huges, Chris Mills and Chad Weathersby; his twin sister, Bonnie Fireck Terrebonne and her husband Joel and their children Brittany Fireck Moya and Raymond Terrebonne; five great-nieces; and seven great-nephews.
FIRECK - Barry S. Fireck, 56, of 1405 Old Reading Road, Paxinos. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Leonard J. Lucas Funeral Home Ltd., 120 S. Market St., Shamokin, with a friar from Mother Cabrini Church officiating. Burial will follow the service in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. Viewing will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
