CHANDLER, AZ— Jill Ann Shoop, 57, of Chandler, Arizona, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, after a hard fought battle with metastatic breast cancer.
She was born Oct. 10, 1959, at Shamokin State General Hospital, a daughter of the late Leonard Shoop and Esther Naomi Shoop.
She graduated from Shamokin Area High School in 1977. She obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida.
She later moved to Arizona and was the managing director of corporate disbursements for American Airlines. She was worked for the airline for 20 years.
Jill was a member of Chandler Christian Church and loved to travel. She traveled to many places all over the world and now has reached the ultimate destination in heaven.
She is survived by her siblings, Gail Shoop Bedell and Robert Shoop, of Paxinos; and a nice and numerous nephews.
