Nancy Smith Obituary
Born in Reading, March 14, 1950, she was a daughter of Mary Anglin Geiger, Amityville, and the late Irwin Geiger.
She was a 1968 graduate of Daniel Boone High School and also attended Penn State University.
Nancy married Bruce Smith, Ashland, on Sept. 11, 1971, in Amityville. She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, crocheting and quilting.
She was a member of United Church of Christ, Friends of the Tri-Valley Free Public Library, and the Schuylkill County Quilter's Guild.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, Mary Geiger, and husband, Bruce, are three daughters, Morgan, Tracey and Tiffany; three sisters, Barbara, Theresa and Connie.
Per Nancy's request, there will not be a public viewing or funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Tri-Valley Free Public Library, 633 E. Main St., Hegins, PA 17938 or to the donor's favorite charity. C.J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mount Carmel, C.J. Lucas IV, supervisor, is in charge of arrangements. Dear Tiff and the entire Smith family. I'm so very sorry for your loss! Nancy was a great person and I'll always remember the times I spent with her. If it was at a Ren faire, a gathering, a trip to JoAnn fabrics, or trying to teach me how to crochet she always could make me laugh! She will be missed!
